Return
Procedures
If you are dissatisfied
with your purchase from Fireplace Gateway will refund your purchase
price. For all products labeled "Free Shipping" your refund
will be reduced by actual shipping cost. Our return policy applies to
cancellations made after an item has shipped or refusal at time of delivery.
Fireplace
Gateway guarantees that it will only offer the finest products available in the
industry and we are committed to giving our customers an honest description of
all goods offered.
It is
imperative to ask questions prior to purchasing. In the unlikely event
you are dissatisfied with your purchase, Fireplace Gateway will refund the
purchase amount of your electric fireplace less the cost of the return shipping
and a 15% restocking fee. Simply call or
email Fireplace Gateway for a return authorization number and return the item
in unused condition, in the original packaging.
Items not in original packaging will not be accepted.
It is the customer's responsibility to keep their appointments with the
shipping company. In the event that the appointment is not kept,
canceled, or refused by the customer, the shipment will be returned to us and
the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges and a 15% restocking
fee. Once the return shipment is received and inspected by us, a refund
will be issued less the shipping and restocking charges.
We are
committed to making sure you are satisfied with our products. Your order is inspected prior to shipment to
ensure all items are in excellent condition before they leave our
facilities. Although our products are
packaged securely to prevent any damage it is possible that in rare cases
damages may occur during shipment.
Before
signing for the shipment inspect the carton and contents. You should have a knife, on hand to help open
the carton. Should you notice any
damage, please note it on the bill of lading, refuse the shipment, and contact
us immediately.
NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of
damaged items if there is no notation on the Freight Bill of Lading. If you are unable to inspect the contents at
the time of delivery, make a notation on the delivery sheet that you
were not able to inspect the contents before signing. You then have 24 hours to initiate a damage
claim with the shipping carrier.
