Electric fireplace inserts are available as 3 distinctive type of inserts to meet your needs. as follows:
Electric Log Set Inserts which are designed to be used in an existing wood burning or gas fireplace, their purpose is to convert an existing fireplace to electric, they require no installation and you simply place them in your existing fireplace and plug them in to a regular electrical outlet.
Electric Fireplace Firebox Inserts this type are complete fireboxes and are designed to be used custom mantels, cabinets and prepared opening, again these need no installation some are designed to install from the back and others to install and slide in from the front and simply plug into a regular electrical outlet, they are also available as complete packages with a wide variety of mantel designs.
Built In Electric Fireplace Inserts which require professional installation as they need to have a specific 240v electrical circuit, they also need to be nailed to the framing of your home as permanent fixtures. |
